Arevshat Meliksetyan

Chairman of the Board

​Arevshat Meliksetyan has been a pivotal figure in shaping Armenia’s insurance market for more than two decades. He led leading insurance companies in Armenia through all key stages of its development and has played an instrumental role in advancing the country’s insurance profession and culture. Throughout his career, he has contributed to major national initiatives - including the implementation of the Compulsory Motor Third-Party Liability (CMTPL) system - and has chaired numerous educational and professional programs aimed at developing the next generation of insurance specialists.

Since 2016, Mr. Meliksetyan has served as Chief Executive Officer of INGO ARMENIA Insurance CJSC, and as of October 25, 2023, he has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer at EFES Insurance CJSC.

Currently, Mr. Meliksetyan also holds the role of the Group CEO and Chairman at Intelligent Management.

Arevshat holds a Candidate of Economic Sciences degree and has earned an Executive MBA from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the American University of Armenia. He obtained the Level 3 Certificate from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London, in 2018.

Arevshat is deeply committed to education and has lectured at several Armenian universities. He is currently engaged in academic collaboration with Lomonosov Moscow State University.
